Office of Archives and History Research Reports
About this collection
This collection of 100+ research reports with in-depth information about famous North Carolinians, historic homes and landmarks, and sites of interest to military historians, such as Haywood Hall, the Cape Fear Civil War shipwreck district, and New Bern Academy. Many of these reports contain not only the text of the report but hundreds of pages of resources including photographs, maps, illustrations, and copies of archival manuscripts.
The reports were written between 1967 and 2002 by the North Carolina Office of Archives and History, which is a part of the Department of Cultural Resources.
