State Fair Ephemera

This collection features digitized North Carolina State Fair materials like premium lists, programs, and photographs. Most of the digitized materials are from the State Library's collection. However the collection also features items graciously donated or loaned by area institutions like the Burke and Henderson County Cooperative Extension Centers, and the libraries at Duke University, North Carolina State University, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Special thanks also goes to the Carolina Digital Library and Archives (now integrated into UNC Library Digital Services), the staff in the North Carolina State Fair press office, Richard Barton, Paul Blankinship, Kim Cumber, Brian Dietz, Aisha Harvey, Cheryl Thomas, and Jason Tomberlin for their assistance on this project.
